The Concise Profile of Mr Nicholas Bredimus – Designer and Inventor Extraordinaire
Saturday, February 27th, 2010Originating in New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus brought airlines, hospitality, and software together and revolutionized these areas of business. This resourceful man has found work in a great many fields, from the luxury home design sector through an advancement of air safety and software programs to save resources and time. Whatever his focus turns to, you can bet he will allot his full energy to it. Glancing at Nicholas Bredimus’ family tree it’s easy to tell he was sure to rise to prominence. Traceable back to the days of Rome, Bredimus’ family tree connects to many countries in Europe. Following the maternal branch, say, he can boast German and Scottish stock. The paternal line, in contrast, originally comes from England and Luxembourg, from where they subsequently came to the United States toward the end of the 1800s. That remarkable drive would serve them well on arrival in America. Nicholas, who would grow up with his siblings, was a child of a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and his spouse, a nurse. Bredimus would make his home in Texas for several years and also spent time in Kansas City, MO, Scottsdale, AZ and Reston, VA.
He’s stepped up to the challenge of prestigious roles at firms throughout the airline sector – many of them highly popular names. Among these was included the vice presidential position for Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and even Hughes Airwest. Most celebrated, however, was his time as a creative software architect for the airline industry. He is famed for one project for US Airways, namely his airplane maintenance computer programs that come into use by most air travel companies. He designed countless other programs for the hotel and airline sectors as well, among them automatic software to take and record flight reservations, employed now at over 50 businesses, as well as the original pc based room reservation software used by the hotel sector, first activated at more than 700 hostelries. And next would come an automated, networked approach to ticketing which stands as a first. He employed these successes to advance into capacities not related to software design. Key roles with American Express and American Airlines followed, and as you may know he set up a business of his own in the early 1990s.
Nowadays, however, he has stepped back from his airline connections and from coding, but he’s still making best use of his talent. He’s at work now advancing building design – blending the needs of superior quality with up-to-date technology and true concern for the environment. It’s really fantastic how far spirit will carry you…
